Stefan, In your kernel configuration file, you need following: optionsSMP# Symmetric MultiProcessor Kernel optionsAPIC_IO# Symmetric (APIC) I/O Then machdep.hlt_logical_cpus is in your sysctl. Can't help you with the PSE disabled thing.
