Read through http://www.freebsd.org/handbook And for trashing windows, you can do it after booting with the FBSD CD and deleting the windows partition Regards S. If you have free space on the hard drive, you can add FreeBSD to the computer without deleting Windows. If you choose to delete Windows, just delete the Windows partition during installation and create a FreeBSD partition in its place.
