Depends on what you mean to network. To just hook them together
you don't need anything on the FreeBSD side. If you want to be able
to mount a network drive on the win box, then run Samba on

how do you plan to connect these two boxes?
Are they both already on your LAN and each box
can ping the other?
What is your goal? Samba quickly comes to mind
