Well, portupgrade wouldn't run use.perl ports. Look for perl links in /usr/bin. If they don't connect to perl5.8.2, that could be part of your problem. Thanks, Kent. I'll have to do that tomorrow, as at the moment I have the ports version of perl uninstalled. I'll re-install it tomorrow and

I am seeing this all of a sudden (after a portupgrade -afRr): /usr/local/bin/perl5.8.2 /usr/libexec/ld-elf.so.1: /usr/local/bin/perl5.8.2: Undefined symbol PL_exit_flags Any ideas what is going on and how I can fix it? a make test in the perl5.8 port/ area runs fine... H
