Hello all,
I am thinking about trying to use 4 to 6 USB "sound devices" on a single
FreeBSD system.
Can anyone advise me if I will run into a case where on every reboot they
all get different pcmX devices? Or will they stay static?
We currently use systems with 6 - 8 PCI cards in them, but th
utput? Not in the sense of a software
synth, but actual physical midi communication out of the game port
connected UART?

Okay, because this is going to be a fixed installation that will be pretty
much hands off.

int after the card is working, mainly framerate issues.
All suggestions welcome! I'm pretty much dead in the water.

P.S. -- I have just purchased a brand new A7V333 a few weeks back and the
Raid 1 mirror will not last more than 24 hours so I must find an alternate
board / cpu immediately! Yes, I have tried several modifications but mirror
ituation ?
The data on the backup drive is VERY IMPORTANT and I can't get to it...
I can be reached via email and I will reply immediately!!
Please have the subject line pertaining to "FreeBSD / Backup Drives" or
something comparable to that so I do not accidentally delet
cently had a similar problem being able to send e-mail
to my host (webgator.com) through Comcast's network -- a Comcast tech
suggested using port 26 instead of 25, and that worked for me.

I also have an issue were upon resume by machine reboots. I believe the two
might be related but I am not sure.
I found a couple of other email chains with similar issues but most of them
have been inactive for more then a year.

I get a "Unknown object type '0'" error. Which interestingly enough is very
similar to the error I get when I use xbacklight "No outputs have backlight
property".
I have a Lenovo Thinkpad x230.
I will start playing around with acpidump after work.

fortnight on my laptop to compile. I tried pkg_add but that broke
everything when I updated to 9.2.
