I used a port about 2 years ago that would connect to
a remote streaming audio server and record all data
into mp3 files. However, I cannot for the life of me
remember it's name or find it, anybody remember this
port?

OK thanks. I'm also assuming I will have to download the windows WPC54G driver
and convert it using ndisgen. I didnt see the WPC54G v2 card listed in the
hardware compatibility list.

Hey group. I'm using the latest Firefox2 (non-linux) and have the latest
diablo-jre15 port installed. I'm finding that the plugin for firefox causes
firefox to freeze consistently. For example, when accessing myspace, as soon as

I'm a long time proponent of FreeBSD as a server. For a long time I've really
wanted a FreeBSD system as a desktop. So, I decided to install the FreeBSD 6.2
and compile xorg, gnome, mozilla, etc... to give it a whirl.

I don't care how long I have been using FreeBSD, or yadda yadda or yadda
when I cvsup ports, update the databse, and install www/firefox and go to a
website I expect firefox's javascript or whatever to work.

Everything I need is in FreeBSD 4-STABLE so I see no reason to switch to FBSD 5*
I realize no further advancements are being made in the 4 branch, but my
question is for how long will I be SAFE using FBSD 4* and when is the targeted
date to stop offering security updates that affect 4*?
