I trying to bring up a file server a system with a 1.5GHz AMD Athlon, 256MB RAM, an older AHA2940 SCSI card with an IBM DDYS-T18350N hard drive. The hard drive is connected to the second channel (the Ultra-wide channel) on the 2940. During the boot process (from the dmesg) the machine stops w
