I chose option 2 in the BSD install menu, and I'm fine now.. tho' I've been too chicken to go thru' the partitioning process, without a thorough read, I'll get around to doing that today/tomorrow, I'm sure. Could you please try booting with disabled parallel port in the BIOS and with ACPI?
