A frequent mistake is that people forget to install the DRI drivers. So, did you install /usr/ports/graphics/dri? Sorry, Rage mobility is mach64... you're trying to use a rage128/radeon driver. That won't work. There is some preliminary mach64 support but you have to build it yourself.
