[Freeciv-Dev] [bug #16000] Disbanding Units and Peace Treaties
URL: http://gna.org/bugs/?16000 Summary: Disbanding Units and Peace Treaties Project: Freeciv Submitted by: doctorjlowe Submitted on: Thursday 05/06/2010 at 20:32 Category: None Severity: 1 - Wish Priority: 5 - Normal Status: None Assigned to: None Originator Email: Open/Closed: Open Release: Discussion Lock: Any Operating System: None Planned Release: ___ Details: From the forum: 'When you originally agree to a peace treaty, you see something like You agree on an armistice with the Poles. In 16 turns, it will become a peace treaty. Move your units out of Polish territory. The threat is implied rather than explicit; perhaps that should change.' This is catching newbies by surprise. The warning could be stronger. Even better, an abbreviated version of the warning should go into the message window every turn. It would be best if there was a way to go to each unit that is inside the friendly nation's borders. ___ Reply to this item at: http://gna.org/bugs/?16000 ___ Message sent via/by Gna! http://gna.org/ ___ Freeciv-dev mailing list Freeciv-dev@gna.org https://mail.gna.org/listinfo/freeciv-dev
[Freeciv-Dev] ATK Libraries not used in GTK client?
I originally posted this query to the forum about a month ago, and got no response. Hopefully i'll have better luck here. I created the 2.2.0 GTK package for OSX-fink after installing all the dependencies listed in the INSTALL file in the tarball as well as a few that weren't listed there: bzip, freetype, fontconfig, and xft. However, i'm curious in that the INSTALL file specifically mentions the ATK library. When i link with SetLDFLAGS: -Wl,-dead_strip_dylibs the libraries that are unused get stripped out of the binary. All of ATK gets stripped out. Can i safely drop this as a dependency as something that is no longer being used? Sent from my MacBookPro Have you noticed how many drivers get real mad if they miss you? ___ Freeciv-dev mailing list Freeciv-dev@gna.org https://mail.gna.org/listinfo/freeciv-dev
