Follow-up Comment #2, bug #17873 (project freeciv): to reproduce: keep the mouse over a menu action (like "build a city" or "goto") and press the hotkey you want to assign to this action. the new hotkey now appears next to the action. to remove an hotkey repeat the procedure and press "backspace"
