Follow-up Comment #1, bug #17967 (project freeciv): I like it. That'd bring us in line with CivIII, which was the best of them [in my eyes]. The one caveat i see is that an air unit should be able to see still further than a land unit on a mountain, but i don't think it would hurt to liberalize
