Thanks for the explanation. The separate directory is perfect, and also logical/expected. While the current FreeDOS is up to date with mTCP, that never lasts. And then we have the people who installed FreeDOS years ago, which is why I keep getting support questions for ancient versions. I

I'm working on a new mTCP version, and this thread reminded me to ask about a problem. I update mTCP more often than FreeDOS gets updated; it's under active development and I need to get fixes out. Where this becomes a problem is that I often see people using the 2013 version of mTCP because
