Hi,
Memory in separate MCBs is not written to after being loaded. I'll
try
to do some testings myself (it seems to work ok under NTVDM and
MS-DOS). The following variants occur to me:
- With/without EMM386
- Different versions of FreeCOM
- Use /B to avoid beeping at all

fixes the following problems:
* FreeDOS truename function doesn't remove trailing backslashes.
* FreeDOS cannot set attributes of a directory without clearing the
directory bit.

works fine with 2.0.36 cvs (version Sep 09 2005 compiled Jul 26 2006).

1. I have an old DOS program that used to run under Windows-98. It
