Hi all. Just looking for requests of open-source DOS games to be included on my FreeDOS ISOs. No freeware/shareware and no-source available games please. Probably abuse and nethack. I think nethack is already on the ISOs. --- SF.Net email is Sponsored by the Better Software Conference EXPO September 19-22, 2005 * San Francisco, CA * Development Lifecycle Practices Agile Plan-Driven Development * Managing Projects Teams * Testing QA Security * Process Improvement Measurement * http://www.sqe.com/bsce5sf ___ Freedos-user mailing list Freedos-user@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/freedos-user

For a doom engine use zdoom: http://www.zdoom.org/files/zdos117c.zip (you also may need to grab a few files off the windows distrobution but it's all open source.) For a doom iwad (the actual game data) use freedoom: http://freedoom.sourceforge.net/download.php On 9/1/05, Blair Campbell [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: and also freedoom with a couple of decent wads. Are there any free/open-source wads?If so, where would I get them? What ones would you recommend?--- SF.Net email is Sponsored by the Better Software Conference EXPOSeptember 19-22, 2005 * San Francisco, CA * Development Lifecycle PracticesAgile Plan-Driven Development * Managing Projects Teams * Testing QA Security * Process Improvement Measurement * http://www.sqe.com/bsce5sf___Freedos-user mailing list Freedos-user@lists.sourceforge.nethttps://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/freedos-user-- _ People disagree with me. Re: [Freedos-user] Re: how to setup network on freedos
kemas schreef: hi all, i've tried Bart's network boot disk, it's cool but it still use ms-dos system. what about freedos? is freedos unstable if we use on a network like samba?? FreeDOS is pretty stable, but might expose bugs in the FreeDOS kernel if used on a network share. Date and time have bugs reported in FreeDOS.org's Bugzilla environment. There's a ready-to-run FreeDOS bootable diskette with MS Network Client (for Windows shares and for Samba) at: http://www.veder.com/nwdsk/index.html Erwin Veermans did a great job in automatically creating modular diskettes, with optional components and being able to run with multiple DOS flavours. Bernd i'm sorry bernd, but i coudln't find the bug you mentioned in the bugzilla, can you show the id of it and is is fix already? thanks kemas --- SF.Net email is Sponsored by the Better Software Conference EXPO September 19-22, 2005 * San Francisco, CA * Development Lifecycle Practices Agile Plan-Driven Development * Managing Projects Teams * Testing QA Security * Process Improvement Measurement * http://www.sqe.com/bsce5sf ___ Freedos-user mailing list Freedos-user@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/freedos-user
