on one hand it would be nice to include a lot of useful software, but on
the other many people just want a simple boot environment (and tiny
download); if we had the manpower, an ideal situation would be multiple
distributions maintained...

Does anybody know of a Flash player for DOS ?
I ask because many websites now have just an .SWF animation as their
home page and so are impenetrable to DOS browsers.
I don't know any Flash players for DOS, but if there is need, somebody could
try to port GPL Flash Library
He is, though is it overly silly that performance is to expected for
some that is considered free and now pretty mush a a hobby? The thing I
don't like about opensource is people tend to take and not return none
for the work of others. It is spelled responsible :-)
