Hi all,
I'm currently facing some users which seem to have a bad BIOS battery and
therefor aren't using the current date.
Those users aren't even noticing that wrong date on their printed invoices of
that day...
Is there a simple way to check from Autoexec/FDAUTO for the year of the date,
Speaking about BBS and CIS:
At that dark medieval times around 1990, CompuServe was the "Master of all
Bulletin Boards". In Germany, you needed to dialup into something called
DATEX-P, which had just a handful of access nodes spread over Europe. In
Germany we dialed into a node in Bern,
(with 128Gb total it was the biggest database worldwide
managed in FoxPro tables) for later analysis.
Could go on for hours here :=)

Hi all,
(this will get a longer story, sorry) I inherited a FoxPro/DOS application,

with monitor, USB-keyboard and LPT-printer strapped on the passenger seat,
powered by a 12V to 230V inverter.
The app itself was
, country, *.cpi and
keyboard lines). Also that c:\windows\command path should probably point to the
Freedos directory.

Just to chime in: There's still software in use written in FoxPro/DOS from 1994
:)
In fact, I'm just upgrading and enhancing such a package. It's running from an
USB-Stick (with FreeDos of course), which is plugged into a smallsized HP
ThinClient. That beast is used in Delivery-cars, which
