I am using solaris 11 11/11 (64-bit; latest) as the VirtualBox host; VB version is 4.1.8 (the latest) https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Downloads; and I am using fd11src.iso (although I am in possession of fdfullcd [152 MB]and fdfullws [241MB]) I mention that the hardware = AMD Athlon II x2 250 .. PROLEGOMENA: i'm a noob. kudos: your instructions are understandable, unlike others that i've grappled with (and lost). Type auto to edit AUTOEXEC.BAT again. a.. Remove the REM before the line DHCP. That means the mTCP DHCP client is started at every boot to update your clients network settings. a.. Reboot a..
