[Freedos-user] conventional memory

Hi I have a custom program that loads into conventional memory. But in need more than the standard 640kb. I have 128Mb extended memory. How can I increase the conventional memory as much as possible? Thanks -

Thanks for your help everyone. I installed the command.com from http://fdos.org/kernel/cmdxms.HEAD.zip , and it increased my conventional mem to 606k, thanks a lot! Also, mem /c returns: Invalid parameter - /C I'm running FreeDOS Beta 8 too, in case that matters. This is on my old thinkpad, which

Hey guys, I was just wondering how I could increase my conventional memory? I'm trying to get Red Baron to run. I'm new to freeDOS, and I'm not sure what the equivalent to mem /c is, but here are some outputs that hopefully will help.: mem /u from the command line: Segment Size Name Type
