A good media player for DOS is MPXPLAY, but I do not know
whether you like the shuffle it probably has :-).
Because many business have opted to listen to conventional radio
stations to provide music
Please send me info about a good movie player for DOS.
I used mpxplay for music and Gaze for viewing pics. Both are nice.

Few years ago I was using QuickView Pro - it's a really nice piece of software.
Unfortunately, QV isn't open-source,
I tried to unzip mplayer. Please tell me what program opens archived files
with the extension .7z ?

It's an 7zip archive, therefor you will have to use 7zip to unpack it. You can
