Firstly, thanks to everyone who answered. I found details on unzipsfx at the Unzip website and downloaded a more up-to-date unzip and zip than I had been using before. I'll try arj as well - back when DOS was the only thing I had on my PC, I remember it as a good program. Wesley Parish On Sun

Hi Arkady, FDSHIELD has no problem with loading to UMBs: If the selected UMB is too small, then the stack pointer will be too low when the UPX stub of the compressed FDSHIELD starts, and the stub will exit to DOS at once, before any damage is done. If you do not UPX FDSHIELD, then you cannot load
