Thanks Eric, that link looks interesting. As for the XT boards, I have a few laying around so was interested in playing with them and teaching my son, I came across a unpopulated 8255 8 bit ISA card which I completed and had it flashing a bunch of LEDs via one of my working XTs (using debug!) ,
