Sorry to be annoying you but can you help me. I want to install FreeDOS on my pc.
I've downloaded both the .iso and the .img. I tried booting from the cd but no joy. Is
the .iso bootable?
Using Rawrite2 I've created the fdos1440.img on a floppy which works but I can't seem
to be able to insta

I burnt the .iso image using Nero. I've used this before to burn Linux distros which
booted fine. I can see files etc on the cd but it just doesn't boot [and yep i've set
the bios to boot from cd].
Maybe there is something wrong with the download.

SUCCESS!!! I downloaded the zipped .iso and it worked like a charm. I also discovered
the problem with my original download it only partially downloaded at 3.8Mb! Teach me
to check the download in future. :-)

There is a great WP for DOS called Breeze that I use myself, works grand in FreeDOS.
