I did “yum upgrade ipa-server,” which presumably does the things that are most 
likely to be an issue. I didn’t have any problems.

I’ll do the rest of the 7.4 upgrade during Thanksgiving break.

I wasn’t actually planning to do the IPA 4.5 upgrade (which is what this did) 
until Thanksgiving. But for some reason our 4.4 servers stopped responding to 
IPA commands on the day of the daylight savings shift. At that point we had two 
4.4 and one 4.5. The 4.5 worked. So I decided to upgrade the other two. It did 
fix the problem, though I don’t know whether we were seeing a 4.4 bug or the 
upgrade reset some state.

Little late to the party, but FWIW, I just upgraded one of our IPA 
servers from 7.3 to 7.4 doing yum -y update.  Worked like a charm. I do 
have another IPA server I haven't updated because of a nasty problem 
with our web front end having a GoDaddy SSL cert and the update to 4.5.0 
bombing due to it.  I /think/ that particular issue is resolved, but I 
haven't had time to test it.
