I created the vista.patch file by pasting the file you referenced into a
vi session.
I moved it into freeradius-1.1.3
I used the command:
patch -p0 id 6
VISTA[eap_compose:476]: reply->code 1

did you build FreeRADIUS yourself? did you note the errors
when you did the ./configure? looks like you are trying to use
SQL but without the program being able to as it didnt compile-in
the SQL support

apply the patch to the source code that you built your self-made debian
package from and then redo the package build. it'll build freeradius
with the new code in the EAP module.
Hello list, I have problem at the time to debug my
radiusd, this is the log
#radiusd -XStarting - reading configuration
files ...reread_config: reading radiusd.confConfig:
including file: /usr/local/etc/raddb/clients.confConfig:
including file: /usr/local/etc/raddb/snmp.confConfig
Now if I have only 1 to 4 user login then this hnguyen user
will able to login. I similated it by comments out some
users in the users file. This how I was able to determine
the system only allow 5 user to sign in.
As you can see in the log file these information did not
pass to the radiu

Now I've added the line
log_destination = files
to the radiusd.conf, and I also tried to start the radius with the
parameter -lsyslog but nothing goes to syslog!
Any ideas?!?

Yep, you need, PHP (hehehe)
see if you have PHP installed and see if you have PHP for Apache installed!
in the httpd.conf, reference points for .php extensions should be
comment out!

I use freeradius 1.1.3 with sqlippool but not work the ippool.
The radius -X give netx message:

OK, I can answer to my own question :
* the line auth_log was commented in the authorize {} section
* and the line replly_log was commented in the post-auth {} section
Now everything works fine.
