using Cisco 1200s with Freeradius authenticating with EAP/TLS. I'd like to
do the same thing at home, but the Cisco 1200s are *way* outside of my
budget :-)

router (WTV56G I believe) perports to support 802.1x. It retails for
about $180 depending on where you look. It's more than just an AP
though, it has full blown router functions.
