This isn't a freeradius problem. Ask on the FreeBSD mailing list, seems to be a pkg manager issue. However, 1.1.8 ??? Really ?? I'd strongly advise to leave that well alone (for a start, if you post questions to this list you'll be told to upgrade) and get latest 2.1.x release alan - List
