Hello
Our setup is as follows:
Centos 5.2
FreeRADIUS Version 2.0.2
MySQL Version: 4.1.20
We are using FreeRadius for our ADSL users and its working fine.
Except when it comes to working out the usage stats for each user at the end
of each month.
Its easy to do with all sessions

CRON script which starts 5-10 min after midnight (first day in
the month) and disconnect all active users. Then you will have
AcctStopTime information in your database and you can sum traffic from
previous month...

We proxy some authentication and accounting to another company.
After installing freeradius version 2.0.1 they have said they are getting
errors in their log file:

I would suggest upgrading. The newer versions have a LOT more

Hi
Apologises if this isn’t really a Freeradius question, although maybe
someone on the list has encountered the issue we have and may have a
solution.

DSL circuits in his office.

Hi all
I’m trying to assign a different IP Pool per realm, instead of the IP being
assigned by the NAS.
However after reading some postings and doing some searching I can’t get
this to work.
The realms we want to assign different IP Pools to, we proxy to different
customers.
So we don’t do the

However we want to be able to see the

Because of the issues I've been having with authentication
with Freeradius I started from scratch and used RPM to remove Freeradius and
then re-installed the latest version.
I needed to be able to accept both PAP and CHAP
authentication, however I couldn't get it to do both and had to by
of the box
Tony Spencer wrote:
On testing I found users still couldn't authenticate by PAP or CHAP, I
run radiusd -X and from what I could see its because of the Default
setting:
DEFAULT Auth-Type = System
Fall-Through = 1
That is no longer in the default config in CVS
failing because no Auth-Type is set.

I want to be able to assign DNS servers for each user to use

If I use:

MS-Secondary-DSN-Server=ip address
For each users radius config will this work?
These users are ADSL users using DSL modems and

Ive got, well think I have, radius to accept all logins no

However some users still cannot login, its around 10 users out of 200.
Ill show details for one user that can login ok and one user
that cant.
Im guessing its something the end user is doing
Hi
I have an issue with authentication using Freeradius (freeradius-1.0.1-3)
We were running L2TPNS on a Linux box and authenticating
fine using CHAP to the Freeradius server.
However because of increased volume of users (DSL and Dial)
we need to move to a Cisco 7200 so it could
