I want to use the annot file for lobar areas in fsaverage to be mapped onto
all of my subjects. As I don't want to disassemble the annot to single labels
but generate lobar.annot for all subjects, I intend to use
mris_ca_label -l fsaverage/label/lh.PALS_B12_Lobes.annot subjid lh
lh.sphere.reg
Is it legit to create a .gcs file using fsaverage as the sole subject for the
PALS parcellations?
I intend to use this .gcs to mri_ca_label all my subjects.
Please advise,
Lena

Hi Lena,
I'm not sure there's much point. You might be better off just using
mri_label2label to propagate the PALS labels to other subjects.
cheers

hmmm, I thought label2label supported annots, but I can't find it in the
help. Doug will be able to comment on this when connectivity allows.

But surely there must be some way to get the stats for all Brodmann
parcellations
Hi Bruce,
I'm finding that sometimes the cortical autoparcellation has disjoint areas
with the same label and finger like projections that don't appear
anatomically accurate.
1. Is there any way I can enforce continuity of labels so that I don't get
these islands?
2. Is there any way to enforce
Hi Satra,
really? Mostly that is disallowed (we relabel until the labels are
connected). Can you send me an example?
