[Freevo-devel] vdrpylib

2004-10-20 Thread syrius . ml
does vdrpylib use timeouts when waiting for an answer from vdr ? using nc to connect to the svdrp port, i'm able to set up a sitution where it takes vdr a long time to answer a 'HITK key'. Most of the time the '250 Key "key" accepted' response is immediate. But when it's not it seems vdrpylib uses

[Freevo-devel] [PATCH] fxd not correctly handled in OVERLAY_DIR

2004-05-13 Thread syrius . ml
Hi, How to reproduce it: - make sure freevo doesn't have write permissions on video directories. - Use video.imdb plugin to create a fxd for a video. - freevo should create the fxd in OVERLAY_DIR - freevo now lists two times the same items. (one from the fxd, the other one from the real file)

[Freevo-devel] [PATCH] when a fxd covers a directory in OVERLAY_DIR

2004-05-13 Thread syrius . ml
let's consider having a fxd OVERLAY_DIR/video/directory/directory.fxd covering /video/directory/ this fxd contains filename.jpg in that case freevo expects to see filename.jpg in /video/directory/ I guess it should expect it to be in OVERLAY_DIR/video/directory/ --- src/fxditem.py.old 2004-05-1

[Freevo-devel] fxd problems.

2004-05-26 Thread syrius . ml
it seems freevo doesn't like '&' in fxd files. examples: in radio.fxd can't contain '&' in movie.fxd can't contain '&' it seems there's issues with accents as well. But I haven't investigate yet :) (i'm only using iso8859-15 here) -- --- T
