[Freevo-users] Watching live IVTV mplayer CRTC2 support

2004-12-21 Thread oschista
Got my new wintv pvr-350 working for recording, after some hiccups. In the process I had to upgrade from 2.6.3 to 2.6.9 kernels; luckily the directfb cvs contained a new kernel patch for the matrox crtc2 stuff so I was able to get everything back in its working state (phew!). Strangely enough

Re: [Freevo-users] Freevo Menu

2004-12-21 Thread Tanja Striepling
Hi, the only file you should edit is your local_conf.py, everything else would mean hacking freevo itself. Freevo's configuration is done via freevo_config.py and local_conf.py, where freevo_config.py contains the defaults and should not be changed. Put your changes in your local_conf.py

[Freevo-users] TV Issues

2004-12-21 Thread Stephan Kanthak
Hi! I know that this is not 100% the right forum for this type of problem. But as freevo still acts mainly as a TV receiving / recording solution, I post it here. I thought getting TV working as perfect as a TV usually does shouldn't be a big problem, but after investing some time I now know it
