I have one question - how made work freevo and netblock device
instead real dvdrom drive?
For example: i have two computers connected by network cable -
one have dvdrom device and on another start freevo (1.5.3 +
mmpython 0.49). If freevo used

I don't see why you find this a bad idea.

I think using something like submount/supermount is just a bad idea
in this case. Freevo handles VCD/CD/DVD just fine without any kind of
mounting madness outside of freevo.

My guess, WHen you did the build world, for whatever reason Freevo
did not rebuild agaisnt the new version of python. I had this happen
when I upgrade the python on my slackware box, but did not recompile
freevo for the new version.
