Active extra debug in config of plugin FusionInventory, and you will
have files in glpi/files/_log/ with rules and detail of mysql queries...
It can help
Could it be a firewall or other network issue?

Try with serial number or name for networkequipments and printers, not
sure with mac it works well (we have some problems with mac (it's not
always unique).
I've had enabled MAC and serial number; i've enabled also 'name' but
nothing changed.

For all those reasons, I'd rather qualify this feature as 'basically
working, but barely usable without external help currently'.
OK. but by 'external help' do you mean payed support from Siprossii (to

Quick workaround, until we find a better solution:
- upgrade Thread::Queue to at least version 2.0.1 (not, it's not
packaged on RHEL 5)
- use RHEL 6
Ahem, i'll wait the 'better solution'. ;-)

Fortunatly, I was able to perl-threads-shared and perl-Thread-Queue

the issue.

However, you should really use a decent platform for this kind of

outdated perl packages issues, such as IO::Socket::SSL, for
instance.

Either the agent is not sending anything to the server (blame the
agent), either the server is discarding what the agent is sending
(blame the server). You may try to raise agent debug level to 2,
