I bought a new Real USB 2.0, 3 port (i said 4) card from Computer Renaissance for $19.99. It says it's for Windows 98 threw XP. No Mac listed anywhere. But it was plug-n-play. I just don't use the driver c.d. (it's for windon't) that came with it. Tested it, 7.5gb in 3 mins or so (unlike 8 hours

It's wired with home sharing on, but I just want to have it as a back up on other computers. Got my 4 port Real USB 2.0 PCI today, $19.99 new from computer store, and installed it in my G4 MDD. 7.5gb's took like 3 mins, or so (not 8 hours as with USB 1.0). Woot Woot!!! Sent from my iPhone O

This is interesting. This card doesn't designate it works with Macs or not. Can you put in any USB 2.0 card and it will work? If this is the case what cards besides video cards are Mac Specific. I guess controller cards would be as well. From: JoeTaxpayer To:
