I currently run a G4 MDD with Leopard. I have a USB 2 card. I want to add an
external hard drive large enough to do video work. Basically work on
transferring home videos to DVD. Any suggestions as to what I should look for?

can anyone recommend a good application that can do a search on a hard drive
and in a mail folder that I could use instead of spotlight? I hate this
application and it doesn't work well at all. Sherlock was so much better.
Running a G4 MDD OS 10.5, plenty of RAM etc.

I work for an electronics recycling company. Old computers come through here by
