Alex, Dark_Mac, You're right, Thanks! I thought I had tried the Alt key. Now I can confidently include a PC keyboard with a G4. The other key needed - F12 to open the Optical drive tray - is a direct match. Anyone think of something that would NOTt work on a PC keyboard attached to a G4?

Hi! I've set up a G4 to dual boot from a Jaguar drive and a Ubuntu drive - both internal. No problem using a Mac keyboard to choose which volume to boot into, just hold down the Option key. The problem is what to do with a PC keyboard. None of the three lower left keys will do the trick.
