isn't an OSX driver for that scanner. i'm not sure that the 2906
controller works with OSX either, but even if you got an OSX
compatible PCI/SCSI card, it still would not see the scanner in OSX.

I would also recommend looking at www.hamrick.com. He has some notes
about this issue. There is also a SCSI-Firewire converter, which no
longer may be in manufacture (Ratoc had one) and which cost about
$100. I have 2 Adaptec SCSI cards and the Initio Bluenote SCSI card-

I have problems with my SCSI-controller card, it is an Adaptec 2906.
My SCSI-Probe in OS9 sees my Microtek Scanmaker III but when I try to
use it I get all kinds of errors. Although I used the scanner before
with Microtec ScanWizard now Photoshop versions 4 and 6 tell me I have
an old driver
