Hello,
What is the best way to operate a laptop when on the AC adapter, with the
battery in place or removed? Am concerned with battery life and number of
cycles. Battery is always down a little after a shut-down and restart on the
power source, does this constitute a "cycle"?
Thank you

Keep the first models. They are more valuable in the future as they
are the first to get scrapped.

When I was saving computers I saved the biggest and most maxed out. In
retrospect that was incorrect. Most collectors I dealt with wanted the
very first models.

The Mac 128 is usually worth more than any of the other early
macs...as an example.

Computer spring cleaning. We think the problem is either with the CD or
the middle RAM slot but the freezing has
stopped happening after we moved the RAM and disconnected the CD.

spam

2011-04-20 Thread Geke
I just got 79 spam messages, fortunately all of them were filtered out
by Gmail. The reason for reporting this here is that they were all
looking like error messages for not being able to deliver a post of
mine to the G3-5 group.

So it looks like someone has been collecting all my posts on this list
and sending me such a mail for each of them, after finding out my
email address as well.
