My QS 2001 733 machine had a mystery repeated power down problem - I
checked the system logs and the last entry was always Power Management
initiating shutdown - I removed and cleaned a lot of dust out of the power
supply replaced it and still got the shutdowns. I then swapped power
supplies
Sounds more like a p/s problem. Have u checked your logs in console? Can you
remember when it happened? Look that time up in the system logs.
