One other suggestion: I dug out my service manual stack and the eMac manual suggests verifying the PMU battery and resetting it. You stated you reset it, but didn't mention the battery. None of their other suggestions recommend anything other than replacement, unfortunately. -- -

My trusty eMac suddenly will not come to life. It was working fine when I powered it down to move it to another desk. It sat disconnect for almost 3 days and when it came time to power it up in the new location - nothing! No "bong," no fan noise, no drive spin noise.  I have tested the end of th
