Good choice. You can also put a processor in that DA from a Quicksilver. The
video card is upgradable as well. Also, some of those eMacs didn't have very
good displays, especially for what you will use it for.

Because the G4 DA has more cache:
- iMac 1GHz: 256KB L2
- G4 DA 733MHz: 1MB L2, 1MB L3

decided to keep my DA 733mhz Power Mac which I got for a steal btw.
I got it used for $25 because it had no HDD and had only 256MBs of
RAM. I got it to it's current state with spare parts around home. I
will save up for a 512 MB
Unless the E-mac was like 50eur or so I would preffer to invest in the
powermac...
512Mb PC133 ram as said is dirt cheap this days...and will give you a
nice boost vs the 512Mb that you have now...

Mac are made for Graphics and Video. My first was a BW G3 400mghz and G4 AD
733mghz was next for Video Edition...every one with better resault My Sony
Vaio 1.7mghz with 2gb of ram. But try The MDD G4 series...still can kick some
