Hi folks. So I'm getting a G5 and I am wondering what is the best way to
back it up on an external firewire 800 hard drive. Is there software that
will do this automatically? Thank you all so much for your help. Peace.

Install Leopard 10.5.8 and you can use Time Machine to automagically
backup.

Use carbon copy cloner. It works great. You can set a schedule on it and it is
free.

I use Deja Vu. There are better options, but it came free with Toast and it

Carbon Copy Cloner (CCC) is the fav of many of us, and free.
