Permissions and Upgrade Process

Am trying to decide whether to do Archive Install or Erase Install. I was thinking Erase Install might clean up things a bit. I use Macjanitor about every 3 weeks but that's the only maintenance I've done. It's run quite well - I do have a Disk Warrior but I've rarely used it. Actually I
