You can move (separately) Accounts (any arbitrary number from the old machine), which will include mail, keychain, etc; Applications (and I don't recall immediately whether you can drill down and select individual applications), and 'Other files'. But even if it was an all-or-nothing thing, you cam move everything over, then delete what yuo don't want. Moving the accounts intact with keychain and preferemnces is more than worth the hassle. -- Bruce Johnson University of Arizona College of Pharmacy Information Technology Group Institutions do not have opinions, merely customs -- -- You received this message because you are a member of G-Group, a group for those using G3, G4, and G5 desktop Macs - with a particular focus on Power Macs. How bad is this and are there symptoms of being invaded? Running a G5 dual under 10.4.11 for sound work, Am I right in that I think I need to lock this back to completely isolated use exclusively? I WOULD like to keep it connected to the LAN for access top and from other computers for file transfer. Never having done it correctly, what;s the procedure for transitioning getting all email, passwords for websites and all that stuff off the G5 and working on the 1.8.3 intel core duo 10.6.8v intel iMac without losing function and archives? thanks , 2013, at 2:09 AM, Kris Tilford wrote: With Flash malware in the wild now that's aimed at OS X users, and with Adobe's recent emergency updates I don't understand why more sites aren't moving quicker to HTML5 and ditching buggy Flash? Re: can *anyone* advise on Flash PPC problem??
Use HTML5 instead of Flash. Look here: http://www.youtube.com/html5 1.8 DP G5/Leopard PPC. Flash stopped working on OmniWeb when I installed Leopard Webkit, which I've now uninstalled. Does anyone know why this happens? I even reinstalled OmniWeb, no Flash. I even copied my known good fake version of Flash 11.5 and placed it inside OmniWeb. That version the OmniWeb prefs read as "invalid", and the version in Library it reads as "registered"---but not loaded. In any case, no dice, no Flash on Youtube. Why Why Why? Can anyone imagine a fix? -- -- You received this message because you are a member of G-Group, a group for those using G3, G4, and G5 desktop Macs - with a particular focus on Power Macs.
