That is correct, Gaim remains unstable even if I quit GunZ.
By unstable, it seems to have a 25-50% chance of crashing whenever an IM
conversation
is started.

You also said a reboot is required. So even if you quit Gaim and relaunch,

For MSN protocol they aren't implemented and there's no plugin that I know of
to use them!! Gaim lacks a bit when it comes to MSN! The main things I complain
