Hi,
Can galaxy combine lots of data into a single file using cat? I have a 2GB
sam type data, but I can't upload it by URL under my condition, so I want to
spilt it into three files and upload it to galaxy and then combine it?

is the equivalent of cat :)
btw galaxy also accepts gzipped files so you can upload it faster that way

Instead of splitting up the file, using FTP with a desktop client would
be a simpler solution. Please see:

If you do decide to split and merge anyway, Kevin pointed out the
correct tool for the merge: Concatenate
