it does. It's just that your saved settings only are restored when you
started the game, not in the main menu. No idea why, but it just works
that way. So, select continue game and your settings should be the way
you want them.

Firstly, the main difference between 32 and 64 bit is the location of 32-bit programs. 64-bit
windows will have two program files folders. C:\program files and c:\program
files (x86). x86 is where all of your 32 bit
