First things first. When you load the game, during the logo, press e.
That'll load the English patch if it skips the logo music. Then go down
three times to options and hit enter. Go down twice for the speech option.
Then, personally I recommend going down to the bottom by hitting end for

Once the game starts you can hit E on the keyboard which activates English
and this also skipps the intro. If pressing e does nothing you may need to
update the version of the game you are using, pressing enter will also skip
