Hi guys,
First, I hope I'm not wrong, but Mithril games now seems like a company who
aren't really into audio games anymore. Why I'm saying this is, it's nearly
two weeks now that they've never gotten back to me about my problems with
Klango not speaking the menues. Very sad.
Now my next point w
Hi, Ari,
First, I find that playing these games is an exercise in creativity, and not
necessarily an exercise in logic.
One thing to remember before starting out is to use save a lot. If you're
permitted to, save before you do anything you think might have a real effect
on the game. You can r
Thanks for that Lora. I remember you were also asking about IF, have you

Hi Will,
the link to the article is at the bottom of my message and on that page is a

While they are reading the text they also demonstrate the game or device.

Hi Lisa,
Here is just a few trouble shooting tips you can try.
1. Make sure dx8vb.dll is in your
c:\windows\system32
directory. If not you will have to grab a copy off of someone who has
one, or install it via something like Jim Kitchen's winkit program.
2. Restart the system after doing a game i
Some of the fun of these games is that you have to think in odd ways. There
are answers to puzzles that I would never have thought of, either, and then,
when someone tells me the answer, I see the logic. But, yeah, some of them
are really weird.

In Phil's message, there is a link to listen to the game if you haven't
tried it. If you're suggesting that someone buys the game or gets a copy
and makes it available to everyone at no charge, I would think that to be
illegal?

Hi Folks,
I just found out about the Hogwarts castle from the Order of the Phoenix
game from this video just posted.
http://video.the-leaky-cauldron.org/video/912
I do not plan to alter the Sarah game based on this information since the
changes mostly move rooms from one floor to another.
Here
and you are posting? How?

It's odd, for one this is some ways true in research and practical
situation for blind people.
I've noticed a lot of changes when I went totally blind 2 and half years
ago. That I remember a lot more things then when I was able to see.
But, for sighted people to be able to use such progr

Hi Nicol,
Sometimes I take poetic license and change a few things so Hogwarts in the
Sarah game is not exactly like Hogwarts in the books.
For example if I gave you unlimited spell casting power like Harry has, the
game would be too easy.

Just a strange observation. Sometimes, a love of interactive fiction makes
new friends out of strangers. I was working with a programmer that I didn't
know today and he said, "Well, I tried searching for xyzzy, just to see what
would come back, and I got all sorts of interesting results." I said
