Hi. I made an autoit script that does that for me. The invisible thing.
I like that.
I just run the script first before I run the game. The script stays active
until I close it.

I wish there was an alternitive program that'd work with FSX. It's
kinda cool because with that game you don't just fly, you've got
missions and stuff, so it'd be cool to complete missions instead of
just flyingaround the world.

I'm not surprised because as a software developer myself I have seen

decision to begin removing DirectInput, DirectSound, DirectPlay, etc
and replace them with XAudio, XInput, etc.
So FS 2002 won't be the first nor the last program you might have
that fails to work properly on Vista and the up coming Windows 7.
Personally I think Microsoft is making too many changes too fast
resulting in third party software developers to play catch up and
update all of their software at once to target the newer Windows

2008-10-06 Thread Jim Kitchen

Hi Lindsay,

I hate to say this, but a true flight simulator like fs2002 was written by a
team of professional Microsoft programmers. I don't believe that you will see
anything like that from a single programmer that writes blind accessible games.

I know that my Puppy1 game is a much more simple flying around 3D shooter game.

Three-D Velocity by Munawar Bijani is probably closer but I am not sure that it
is a real flight sim like FS2002. but hey I hope that you will check out
Puppy1 and 3D Velocity.

I just want to play but yeah it would be good to get something like this done.

Hi,
At BPC we're currently working on a dogfighting flight simulation. While
it's not intended to act as a replacement for Microsoft Flight Simulator
(your goal is not to fly bigger and bigger planes, but rather to complete a
task--like Top Gun, or Soviet Strike) it may be what you're looking for.
http://www.bpcprograms.com/. Another flight game is Jim Kitchen's Puppy1
game. In this one, your goal is to shoot down an oncoming aircraft before it
fires at you and kills you. http://www.kitchensinc.net/. Puppy1 can be
played with a joystick, so there's an added advantage there.
Hope this helps,
